Spaniards continue attacking the Catalan People, now using soccer as an excuse. As probably you know, the Catalan Countries or Catalonia have not an own national team to play official championships in the different sports. In mountain races Catalonia can participate as well as yudo, korfball and another non massive sports. Roller hockey, very popular in the Catalan Countries, is only official in America.. it is funny.. Catalania can be the American champion. And thanks to Spain, we cannot play the world nor the European competition. Some day I’ll talk about the Fresno process and how Spanish federation can be violent to block the Catalan nation. Now I want to talk about soccer! The US is going to play a friendly match against Catalonia on October 14th. But the glove of the Spaniards even reach to friendly matches.. Spain says the friendly can’t be played ’cause Spanish team plays a day before despite the Catalan team is not going to use any Catalan player used by the Spanish one. Spanish federation doesn’t allow to play the Catalan federation. US federation has sent a letter asking for a change in the Spanish position, but they don’t accept any change.

The Catalan Countries almost won, when the Spanish federation unfairly brook the international Assembly of the International Federation of Roller Hockey. The acceptance process started with some rules which changed in the middle by the Spanish tensions. It was the first time that the International Federation of Roller Hockey changed the opinion and leave outside of the International Assembly someone provisionally accepted by the Council of the International Federation.
