Thanks to new technological tools, 4 people from the Catalan Countries have build a new places to demonstrate. The Catalan Countries have an innovative webpage with the aim to locate all the people who wants the independence for the Catalan Nation. “Let’s join the map for an Own State for the Catalan Countries” is a campaign born with the goal to visualize in a map all the people who want the Independence of the Catalan Countries. In a moment when not even the politicians are aware of the support the movement for Independence has in the Catalan Countries, “Sumem-nos al mapa per un Estat Propi” proposes a national self-recount.

The campaign wants to help improving in the endemic problem of the Catalan people, self confidence, showing ourselves to the whole wide world as a people who is alive and resilient (resisting) making use of the latest technologies.

I’m Catalan and I want an own State for my nation: The Catalan Countries. And for this reason I’m not looking for the national solution through a more adjusted frame in Spain or France of the Catalan people. But there are a number of questions that we (the catalan) should take into account if we want to be pragmatic. Now we must improve our cultural and linguistic situation in the world.

Throughout this bloc in the English and Catalan editions, I propose one partial solution. If the Catalan Countries, nowadays are divided in 4 States (Andorra, Spain, France and Italy); I suggest to crate a single official region inside of Spain involving all the regions of the Catalan Countries settled down by Spain (Valencia Country, Balearic Island, Catalan area in Aragon, Carxe and Catalonia). Spain cannot say NOT to a political solution which improve the Catalan culture and language. They cannot say not if we are demonstrating our national feeling peacefully. In opposition to other nations. Democracy is to accept the opinion of every body, isn’t it? If the Spanish are trying to divide our language in two or three, It won’t happen anymore. If Spanish government is putting the Catalans ones against the others, Won’t be so easy to do it again.

This is the firsts step of the Lord of the Mountains, the English version of “El Senyor de les muntanyes” (in Catalan). The main objective of this blog is to open an active blog community, as the Catalan one is, to the rest of the world. This is truth: the catalan blogosphere (also named Catasphere) is very active, and always tries to advance towards the independence of the Catalan Countries. An exemple of our improvement is our national domain for internet which was acquired 2 years ago. Dot Cat represents one of our small victories in the lasts years. The next advances depend on every body!

So “The Lord of the Mountains” starts, to open to the rest of the world the main ideas you can find in the Catosphere . As well, I offer this blog to any one who wants to access to the Catalan point of view, without Spanish or French disturbances (both states are very interested to silence our nation to avoid split their territories).
